The ambassador attended the merit making ceremony at Jönköping.

          On 1 October 2022, Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke and Ms Chinattha Sangvachara, attended the merit making ceremony organized by Prakartsanghakhun Forening, Jönköping, and supported by Wat Santinivas Haninge and Wat Santinivas Norway. The event was well attended by Thai communities from Jönköping, Nässjö, Stockholm, Västerås, and Norway.

          Thai communities in Sweden spread across the country and they normally set up temples or dhamma centers in their communities to perform cultural/religious ceremonies according to their life cycle, and to serve as their spiritual refuge. The Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm is honored to take part in their merit making as well as cultural activities and generally uses the opportunities to answer questions relating to consular services.
