On 6 March 2020, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to Sweden, and Mr. Nithi Patarachoke, her spouse, accompanied by Royal Thai Embassy’s officer, visited Karlstad University and learned more about the university’s Center for Service Research (Centrum för Tjänsteforskning – CTF).
During this visit, Mr.Johan Sterte, Vice-Chancellor, and his team welcomed Ambassador Patarachoke and her delegation to the campus and discussed during lunch on the topics of history of Karlstad University and its educational tie with Thailand, Thai-Sweden relations, and overview of possible cooperation between the university and Thai universities/ research institutes.
Later on that day, Ambassador Patarachoke also visited the CTF where she and her delegation had an opportunity to be briefed by Professor Per Kristensson (Director of CTF), Professor Peter Magnusson (Business Administration), and Senior Lecturer Maria Åkesson and learned about CTF’s interesting research findings on service management and value creation through service.
