Ambassador hosted a dinner in honour of Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, and delegation.

On 19 May 2024, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys hosted a dinner in honour of Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, and delegation, during their visit to Sweden as guests of the Swedish Air Force and SAAB AB between 15-21 May 2024. The dinner was also attended by Group Captain Putthapong Phalajivin, Defence and Air Attaché, along with diplomats from the Royal Thai Embassy.

Ambassador Arunrung and the Commander-in-Chief exchanged views on ways and means to further promote bilateral relations between Thailand and Sweden, especially in the areas of politics, security, military, and defence cooperation,including long standing ties through the Gripen fleet currently stationed in Thailand.
