Ambassador welcomed Ph.D. students and professors from the Technology Management and Innopreneurship Program (CUTIP), Chulalongkorn University.

On 22 May 2024, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys and Mr. Natouch Thammanuruk, Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy, welcomed Ph.D. students and professors from the Technology Management and Innopreneurship Program (CUTIP), Chulalongkorn University, on the occasion of their field trip to Sweden.The Royal Thai Embassy briefed on the role of the Embassy and Thailand – Nordic Countries Innovation Unit or TNIU in promoting cooperation between Thailand – Sweden and Thailand and the Nordic region in technology and innovation for sustainability. They also exchanged views on innovation- led development in Thailand by adapting Sweden’s innovation models.

On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy and the CUTIP delegation also had the opportunity to listen to a lecture from Mr. Kjell Håkan Närfelt, Chief Strategy Advisor of VINNOVA, a Swedish innovation promotion and development agency, regarding VINNOVA’s role and Sweden’s success factors in the development of innovation and entrepreneurship.
