Drawing competition on the theme “My Dream Songkran”

On 8 April 2026, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys together with Ms. Passalin Swetrat, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Stockholm Office and Ms. Nattamon Punbhochar, Councellor (Consul) joined the judging panel for the drawing competition on the theme “My Dream Songkran.” The event was organised by the Association of Thai Teachers in Sweden (Föreningen för thailändska lärare i Sverige).

This year, a total of 164 submissions were received from youth across 17 municipalities throughout Sweden. Of these, 55 entries were shortlisted for the final round. The competition was divided into three age categories:• Lower Primary Level (ages 6-9)• Upper Primary Level (ages 10-12)• Lower Secondary Level (ages 13-15)

On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy provided support for educational awards across all categories, including first, second, third, and commendation prizes. All participants also received coloured pencil sets as souvenirs. In addition, the TAT Stockholm Office supported the activity by providing commemorative T-shirts, with the aim of encouraging creativity among Thai youth living abroad.
