Meeting with the CEO & Founder of Stockholm International Fashion Fair

          On 22 August 2023, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys had a meeting with Ms. Imane Belmkaddem, CEO & Founder of Stockholm International Fashion Fair at the Royal Thai Embassy, Stockholm. Minister Counsellor Thanida Menasavet and Ms. Yuthaporn Norrman, Cultural Affairs Coordinator, also joined in the meeting.

          Ambassador Arunrung proposed future cooperation with Ms. Belmkaddem, especially Thailand’s contribution in Stockholm International Fashion Fair, organised in March and September every year, which Ms. Belmkaddem gladly accepted. The Embassy also worked with Ms. Belmkaddem before during the 5th edition of Stockholm International Fashion Fair in March 2022.

          The Embassy will continue to support Thai entrepreneurs and designers to further promote Thai fabrics in the international market. A main strength of Thailand is on sustainable fashion, which focuses on an environmentally friendly and sustainable production of textiles. Thailand’s contribution in Stockholm International Fashion Fair will help promote Thailand’s 5F cultural resources, which are Food, Festival, Fighting, Film and Fashion.
