On May 18 celebrates 154th Anniversary of Thai-Sweden diplomatic relationship.

In London, 18 May 1868, 154 years ago, in the reign of King Rama IV of Siam and King Charles XV of Sweden and Norway, the Kingdom of Siam and the Kingdom of Sweden and Norway signed the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation of 1868. The treaty marked the official beginning of diplomatic relations between the two kingdoms. Following that historical moment, Thailand and Sweden have continuously developed our overarching cooperation. The Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm is committed to promoting comprehensive collaboration with Sweden and to cultivating goodwill between the peoples of the two countries.

Happy 154th Anniversary of Thai-Swedish friendship!
