PostNord will discontinue the registration service for stamped mail by 31 December 2025

Currently, applicants who apply for a passport at the Royal Thai Embassy and are unable to collect it in person could receive their passport via registered mail, either by using a self-addressed stamped envelope or by using postage purchased electronically through the PostNord system or directly at a PostNord service point.As PostNord will discontinue the registration service for stamped mail by 31 December 2025 and will only register mail with postage that is purchased electronically through the PostNord system or directly at a PostNord service point. Therefore, in order to ensure the continue service of sending new passports by mail, the Royal Thai Embassy kindly requests that all passport applicants who wish to receive their passport by mail use postage that is eligible for registration according to PostNord’s regulations, effective immediately.Details regarding the related PostNord’s services are available at this link:
