“Songkran Festival: Bangkok City Edition” held at The Node, Sergel Torg in central Stockholm
On Friday, 17 April 2026, Ambassador Arunrung Photong Humphreys, together with Counsellor Nattamon Punbhochar (Consul) and Mrs. Supavadee Agvald, Mrs. Somying Hultqvist, andMrs. Tassawan Schmidt, local staffs of the Royal Thai Embassy, participated in the “Songkran Festival: Bangkok City Edition,” held at The Node, Sergel Torg in central Stockholm. The event organised by a new-generation Thai startup in Sweden.
On this occasion, the Embassy set up a consular advisory corner to provide services to attendees. The event featured a range of activities promoting Thai arts and cultural heritage, including the arrangement of an altar table, Thai classical dance performances, and Muay Thai demonstrations, as well as recreational activities such as egg-tossing and balloon-popping games.
In addition, a variety of Thai products, cuisine, and beverages were available.
The mini mobile consular services formed part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote engagement and Thai cultural presence abroad, while facilitating connections with Thai nationals and the local community in Sweden.
