The Centenary of Thailand’s de jure Recognition of Latia in 1921.
On 11 August 2021 marks the centenary of Thailand’s de jure recognition of Latvia in 1921. Thailand was one of the first countries to officially recognize the Republic of Latvia following the establishment of the Latvian state on 18 November 1918. The Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm also covers the relations between Latvia and Thailand and therefore wishes to take this occasion to congratulate the people and the Government of the Republic of Latvia. The Embassy will work fully to enhance the relations between the two countries. We look forward to jointly celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year.
