The Kathina ceremony at Wat Thai Uppsala.

          On 5 November 2022, Thai communities in Uppsala, and other cities such as Sundsvall, Västerås, etc. gathered in a Kathina ceremony of Wat Thai Uppsala at the Fyris Park, Uppsala. Monks from Wat Siamminmangkalaram Sweden, Wat Thai Uppsala, Wat Dhammangalaram, Wat Thai Norrtälje, Thai-Danish Buddhist Monastery, and Wat Si Aram from Khonkean province in Thailand also came to take part in the ceremony. Minister Counsellor Thanida Menasavet together with Counsellor Surada Monatrakul and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy and their families joined in the Kathina ceremony.Blessing to everyone !
