The Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm carried out a volunteer community service and merit-making activity on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, 3 June 2025, at Wat Phutthasothon, Uppsala.On June 28, 2025, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, along with staff from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai-Swedish Knowledge Association in Uppsala, carried out a volunteer community service and merit-making activity on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, 3 June 2025, at Wat Phutthasothon, Uppsala.In the morning, Ambassador Arunrung and staff engaged in Buddhist merit making activities with the Thai community in Uppsala and other towns in Sweden.In the afternoon, a special talk titled “Happy Retirement” was held and broadcasted live through the Association’s social media channels, delivered by Khun Parichart Otkanon, to provide information to Thai people residing and working in Sweden. The session aimed to improve the better knowledge and understanding of the Thai community about the welfare benefits they are entitled to under the Swedish social welfare system, particularly those related to retirement benefits in Sweden.
