The Royal Thai Embassy organized a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, and Thailand’s Father’s Day at the Royal Park Hotel, Stockholm.

          On 3 December 2021, the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm organized a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, and Thailand’s Father’s Day at the Royal Park Hotel, Stockholm, with due respect to the Covid-19 measures in place and following on the format practiced by all diplomatic corps during this on-going Covid situation.

          The attendees include Mrs. Åsa Lindestam, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, diplomatic corps, Swedish authorities, and business sectors. There also were an exhibition on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, a traditional Thai dance performance, and the royal composition songs composed by the His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and performed by students from Kungliga Musikhögskolan (KMH).

          On this occasion, Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke and Mrs. Cecilia Ruthström-Ruin, Sweden’s Ambassador for Human Rights and Former Asia Pacific Head of Department delivered remarks emphasizing on the longstanding and several facets of Thai-Swedish Relations.
