This month in Thailand features a Loy Krathong Festival on the full moon day of the 12th month of the Lunar calendar (19 November this year). It is a time-honored tradition since over 800 years ago which has been passed on from generations to generations. On 9 November 2021, the Embassy therefore welcomed our adorable guests who are pre-school children from Villagatan Preschool located nearby the Embassy to experience a glimpse of Loy Krathong Festival. The children got to make their very own Krathongs and enjoyed their time learning about cultural diversity. We have asked permission to post these photos from the school who have consulted the childrens’ parents already.
The Embassy welcomes visits from schools to learn about Thailand. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
