To mark the occasion of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej Memorial Day on 13 October, Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke, together with Thai officials from the Embassy and Thai communities in Sweden, participated in a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony.
On 10 October 2020, to mark the occasion of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej Memorial Day on 13 October, Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke, together with Thai officials from the Embassy, Team Thailand, and Thai communities in Sweden, participated in a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony at Buddharama Temple, Värmdö.
On the same day, Ambassador Kanchana led the officials to Riddarholmen church to place a wreath in front of H.M. the Late King’s Seraphim Coat of Arms. H.M. the Late King received the Knight of the Swedish Royal Order of the Seraphim on 5 April 1950. The ceremony was kindly facilitated by the Royal Orders of Knighthood of Royal Palace and the Riddarholmskyrkan.
Later in the afternoon, the Embassy also organized a ceremony to pay respect to H.M. the Late King at the Royal Thai Embassy. His Majesty will always be in our hearts.
